More GOOD NEWS!

Hello Friends
Many of the parents of children from our orphanage in Haiti just got back from a parent trip. This is an email I received this morning from my friend Elicia. She and her husband Rob are Christ followers and their church made tracks for them to hand out in Haiti - they were written in Kreyol. They got to give one to Louis and you can read the rest of what certainly warms our hearts! We love him so much already - and of course are looking forward to what some other moms will tell us about how Silas was doing. :) Sounds like both boys are great! Sometimes I can't believe I get to live this AWESOME LIFE! God has been so good to us!
We will get official updates with pictures from the Foyer de Sion staff in a couple weeks and I will post them right away.
Hope you all are well.

Joyfully,
lori

Hey sweetie
We are in Fll and are flying out after lunch.
Just wanted you to know that I saw both your boys.
What a lucky momma you are!
We were stuck at Pationville for sometime because of road blocks with Carnival.
When we pulled up Rob yelled to the kids "Loudigons?" and they ran and got him
He walked up to the van and saw us immediately he went over to Robs window with a big smile. We got out and gave him tons of hugs. He is such a sweet and handsome boy!
We talked about "Momma Lori" and he ran in the house.
He came back out with the picture book you sent him and he flipped it right to your picture and pointed to you with the biggest grin I have ever seen.
You can tell that he is SO proud to be your son!
I pointed to a picture of Noel and said "Papa" and he said yes.
We gave him suckers and his little book about Jesus.
Lori, we had just an amazing time with your precious son.
He is an amazing boy who never stopped smiling the whole time we were there.
I know Rob spent more time with him while I went to see Marley so I will ask him about it and will tell you more. :)
We got stuck in the streets of Port Au Prince in the dark because of Carnival on the way to Fontamara, it was the only time I have been afraid in Haiti. By the time we got there it was late and dark and I was so sad that Silas was asleep already. But I know that Heather and Dan spent a lot of time with him the day before. They were laughing at the hotel about what a cutie he is and how he sure can put away the cheerios! They also said he looked really healthy.
The trip was GREAT. Things worked out so well and I hope every trip goes as smoothly from now on.
Hugs to you and I am still so excited about your file movement last week!
Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee
Elicia
