OH WOW!!!!!!! How am I going to work for 12 hours today???
We just got word we are out of the MOI office and will be getting a passport and VISA now - finally. God is so good to us. I will write all the ways He has been sifting me lately someday. For now please celebrate Him with us! Silas should be coming home in about 8 weeks!

Thankful,
lori
for all of us

We will be working on the details - but would like to spend several days in Haiti with Louis when we go to bring Silas home. We will take Lily with us too!

Lori,
We are beyond thrilled with the news of today! We are celebrating for you and with you! You have bene such a faithful woman of God through this very long wait. You have impacted many lives already! And I cannot imagine what God will do through your family as Silas joins you at home! I cannot wait to see you holding Silas! Of course, I cannot wait to hold him myself and hear his giggle! We will continue lifting you up and celebrating each step closer to bringing your boy home! Love you so much! Erin

God is SO GOOD!!!! Congratulations! As soon as Julie brought Rachel to school, she shared the news with us. We are all so excited...these next 8 weeks will fly by! And you know, you HAVE to bring him by the school so we can see him! Kristin was looking at pictures on your blog and she asked if Louis is going to come to Sunshine Montessori as a school-ager when he gets here...I think she's already got her eye on him :) Talk to you soon!

Love ya,
Laura

Lori-
This is your old babysitter from decades ago, Jill (Lingwall) Farmer. Darcy forwarded your blog to me last year. My family has been continually praying for yours as we've followed your winding journey. Your unwaivering faith and strength through this hope-filled wait are incredibly inspiring. I hope you know the HUGE impact your steadfastness is having on those of us watching from afar. I'm so proud to have "known you when..." and to see you grow into such a shining light for God's awesome goodness.
Glory be for what has been, for what is to come, and for what is today!
Love,
Jill
