We have heard that all our paperwork was delivered to the USCIS in Haiti last Tuesday for review. We are waiting to hear that they are finished reviewing it and then all paperwork will be delivered to the Consulate who issues the VISA appt and then we travel!!! I think it will be safe to make flights once the USCIS clears the file - go to Haiti 2 weeks from then. I am so excited!
We also just heard that Louis' file is out of the IBESR!!! (the Haitian Social Services office) - in the past this could be quite an obstacle - still is for some families. Now his file goes through the court system, then is legalized????, then into the MOI office. The MOI office is taking around 4 months as far as I can tell. Silas' file exited MOI in September - so you may be thinking (like me) this could go a little quicker, with God's help, for Louis! I pray so. It will be great to have good news for him when we visit.
I hope all my friends reading this are having a fabulous evening!
As always - thanks for the support.
With joy,
lori

Tugwell Family,
I am thrilled for you! I pray that you have great news for Louis...he will be so excited. I have a request...please keep my best friend in your prayers...she lost her 20 year old son in a very tragic way. She was priveledged to have had the kind of relationship with her son that some mothers never have....I know your sons are precious to you.
Lori!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to you and your sweet boys!
Lots to celebrate!
Still praying for you guys.
Hugs
