It is hard to believe that nearly 2 years has gone by since we first saw this sweet face. We will certainly do some celebrating in the next few weeks.
As Lisa posted before - Silas' Haitian passport is finished and he has passed his medical exam. Please pray for an appointment on Monday at the USCIS to go well. The USCIS has procedures they follow to approve the adoption. They will review our case, give approval and then send our documents on to the Consulate who will issue a VISA appointment. These steps could take 2-4 weeks - my best guess...we are hoping to travel in the month of October! If the appt on Monday goes well - this is very likely. :)

We are so thankful that this is our life. I can't believe we get to do this!!! I get to be Mommy to these two precious boys.
I think I have posted before - we are planning to stay in Haiti for several days to visit with Louis and be all together as a family. Lily is so excited to meet her brothers and play with them. We are praying this will be a good thing for Louis - give him hope - it will be hard to leave him. Praying for his paperwork to make speedy progress.
