Hope this finds you excited about CHRISTmas in just 1 week!
I wanted to share some answers to our prayers. Our friend of a friend, Cecile Bledsoe, (who is newly elected to the AR State Senate) hand delivered all of our documents to Congressman Boozman on Saturday. He called me himself yesterday morning and left a voice mail saying he was looking into what he could do to help. Boozman’s office then followed up with an email to the Immigration officer, Mr. Bannis, letting him know that the Congressman is interested in our case and the outcome. This is such an answer to prayer and I wanted you to be able to celebrate it with us. Our lawyer will be calling Mr. Bannis sometime today or tomorrow to ask him to review our case and rescind the denial. Please pray that Mr. Bannis will see how Silas meets the legal definition of an orphan and will respond appropriately to approve his immigration home to our family. I am praying he will have the desire to inform our attorney of a favorable decision during their phone call – TODAY or TOMORROW!
We are seeing God work. His righteous right hand upholds us and we are firmly supported by the prayers of our family and friends. THANK YOU!
I will update again soon. HOPEfully with great news!
Merry Merry,
