Some news...

Hello to all
We awoke Saturday morning to a bunch of scanned and emailed documents from Haiti. Included is a death certificate for Silas' birth mother.
It is in French and I do not know all the details yet about who went forward to get it and if they will be able to testify to her death with the USCIS, but it appears to be a step in the right direction.
Please join us in prayer that this certificate will be enough for the US immigration office to make a favorable determination about Silas being an orphan. I will be speaking tomorrow with the people who will facilitate getting the documents to the man who decides the outcome of our case. After he reviews the new evidence he could issue permission for our VISA and we could be going to get Silas within a few short weeks.
Please pray that this is all that is needed and that finally Silas could be free to come home.
Only with Jesus is any of this possible. He is able.

Thank you for your prayers,
lori
for all of us
