We went hiking at Natural Falls State Park last weekend - Lily led the way for most of our hike. This picture is at the bottom of the falls - where the movie Where the Red Fern Grows was filmed. Silas is loving the outdoors like his big sister. We have certainly been having a great time as a family of 4, but constantly feel like we are missing someone - because we are. The scene replays in my mind every day - that last night in Haiti when I was tucking Louis in and through tears he asked me, "what month, Mom?" I question why I allowed myself to give him the answer of "hopefully by August." At the time - it seemed conservative and realistic to expect him home within 6 months. Now I consider a hundred times a day - how August has come and gone and there is no end in sight.Could you please pray for our family once again - and ask God to show favor to our case within the Haitian MOI office and the USCIS office. We only need a passport and VISA. This could take days or months. Louis turns 12 on November 6. I am asking God to bring him home before then. Please pray for Louis to have hope.
Thank you.
May God Bless you and yours,
lori
for all of us
