Some pictures of The Titus Task 5k/1mile event! This is a small representation of volunteers - we had about 80! They stood on the course and directed people, registered runners, served food and drinks, made sure kids were safe on the inflatable's, set up, took down, sold tshirts and raffle tickets, ETC! It was a cold morning, but that didn't stop people from running and having fun! We had a total of 234 runners and walkers - another 15-20 people registered, but didn't make it out that morning. It was everything we had prayed for and more. God was present and Titus was remembered. People gave from their hearts to help more orphans, like Titus, have a family. Beautiful.
We have an awesome new photography business in our town. It is a husband and wife team - they added so much to our day - set up this cool 8 foot chalkboard wall. The boys could be super man in the set and the girls - angels! It was so cute - then the kids had fun being artists at the end of the event.
My sweet family. I am so blessed. Noel has supported me so much while I worked on planning our event. Many nights of cereal or KFC for dinner:)
Lily and Abby write notes to each other - Silas finding himself some chalk:)
Angel Lily - she won the girls 6 and under 1 mile run. She was one of the first girls to finish:) Of course Noel ran with her encouraging her the whole way! She was so funny when she found out she won!!! Just today - she quit saying her legs were sore. These are some of the professional pictures - I will post more soon of the actual race.
We are dreaming big and wondering what God has in store for The Titus Task - maybe a race for Titus in other cities and states??? We would help.....hmmmm!
In the morning, Noel and I are going to redo our fingerprints for our adoption for the 3rd time!!! They only last for 15 months! Louis' paperwork should be going to the USCIS office in Haiti this week. They have to review it and we should hear something soon! Come on VISA...then we fly to Haiti and bring Louis HOME!!!
Love to all

Lori, I ran across your story today and am so moved because we too are adopting two little boys from Haiti. The older of our boys weighed 6.5 lbs at 4 months old and suffered from malnutrition as well. We matched with our sons nearly 19 months ago and are currently awaiting approval from MOI.
God bless you in and through this special ministry He has entrusted to you, and may your precious son Louis be home with you very soon!
Sincerely,
Stephanie
