A note about Silas...

Hello to all
We have been so busy with fun times, I haven't kept up well with the blog. Maybe this weekend I will find time to post some pics of our Lake trip and other fun days lately.
I did want to immediately let you read this most wonderful note from one of the other mom's that was visiting her children in Haiti this week...

I saw Silas tonight! He was standing in his crib and when I turned around he said “ma ma” and was reaching his hand out to me. I waved and asked the nanny where Jeff was and she pointed to the very little boy who was saying “ma ma” to me! He is so big! His little face looked the same once I really looked at him and they have cut his hair since the last time I saw him. He looks so good. I gave him loves for you. He’s a sweet boy.

OK - thinking of him calling for me and thinking he saw me (of course it is possible he says Mama to lots of women) really got to me tonight. I miss him so much and just want to shower him with love. It is so reassuring to read her words and think about how big he is getting and that he looks good. So - I guess the pneumonia got better - though this is the only kind of update I have heard since finding out he was ill. I am thankful this Mom took time to email me tonight after saying goodbye to her 2 babies. Thanks Karen!
