Request for Prayer this Week...

Hello Family and Friends of SILAS
Thank you again for all the prayers you have said for our family. Last night at church, no coincidence I am sure, a video was shown. It was about a man who was imprisoned for his faith in Jesus Christ in the Soviet Union and a body of believers in Asia who prayed for him. It was an incredible story of how he overcame periods of time that he was in a cell in freezing temperatures because of the prayers of other people. He told of a time when he should have died in a cell with a broken window and when he thought he was near death he was filled with a supernatural warmth. The next morning the guards were astonished that he was alive and had a normal body temperature. The only explanation was that God answered the prayers of believers miles away. He was unexplainably released later and lived to give testimony to the power of prayer.
This is our prayer this week as our paperwork enters the hands of those who decide where Silas gets to sleep at night, who gets to show him love, and teach him about faith and the important things of this life…we pray that he will be supernaturally released from his current address into our arms.
We pray that we can be faithful in praising God at all times and in all situations. We remember the account of Paul and Silas imprisoned – they always had hope and they praised God in song – and the doors of the cells were miraculously open which in turn caused many to believe in Jesus. God, let that be the testimony of our family and of Silas.
Please pray hard for Silas this week. I can’t wait to tell you how God has answered your faithful prayers.
He is good.
Thank you – those words are inadequate to describe how much we appreciate your prayers.
All our Love,
Lori
For all of us
Noel, Lily, Silas, and Louis

Specific Prayer:
That our response and evidence is enough to prove Silas’ orphan status.
That there would be no doubt that Silas is an orphan with a complete legal Haitian adoption and is deserving of immediate immigration approval.
That our paperwork would be expedited to the Embassy and VISA issued asap.
Please pray for God’s favor toward adoptions in general in Haiti.
