Hi FriendsWell it looks like Louis will NOT be coming home for Christmas. It was reported to us that our file had another document that needed corrections. We have been waiting for that document to be finished, but found out nearly two weeks ago that the Haitian Orphanage director's son was kidnapped. It is a horrible tragedy - their son is 2 years old...I think this Sunday will be 2 weeks that he has been missing. Needless to say, they have not had the time to work on our file. We have been told they are hiring more help now to facilitate their adoptions while they continue to work to find their son. Praying that their son is found unharmed - please pray with us. I will be glad to post when we find out our file has made progress. We miss Louis - we are thankful for Lily and Silas and are enjoying watching Silas experience CHRISTmas for the first time. So fun. Please keep praying for Louis to be able to come home soon! Thank you so much friends.

still praying perhaps January will be your homecoming month...
the kidnapping is just unbelievable to me... Putting my own 3 year old in that position... it just freaks me out to think about .... been praying for them lots as well.
I didn't realize Louis was at that orphanage. I've been praying for that particular family...beyond heartbreaking. I can't imagine.
I'm so sorry Louis won't be home for Christmas but will pray that it's not much longer and your sweet family can be together.

Leaves me with such a heavy heart... I will certainly pray they find the little boy unharmed and that new employess will find Louis HOME before too long!
