We finally heard from Haiti! The Orphanage director was reached by phone for a few minutes he reports that all children of Foyer de Sion are alive. No reports on injuries except his wife who has a broken leg. We do not know where Louis is at this time. Waiting for more information. Now focusing our efforts on getting him home immediately.
THANK YOU for your prayers!!!!
Friends - If you are looking for somewhere to donate in efforts to help Haiti. These are friends of ours who could use your help. They have an awesome ministry and love the people of Haiti. You can read all about what they do on their blog and other links to Heartline Ministries, etc. Tara keeps up a great blog of their joys and struggles living in Haiti too.

Thank you so much for the great news! You don't know me but I have been following your story because of Amanda B. and have been praying for Louis. Praise God!
Thank You, JESUS! I have been praying for your family and especially Louis during this time. I am thrilled for you that you have had contact with the orphanage. I will keep my prayers focused on him getting home to the family that longs for him to be there.
What wonderful news!! God is great!!
You don't know me but I am one of your mom's Facebook friends. Your story of love, strength, hope and faith is inspiring. I've shared your blog with my friends. Please know that your prayer circle has gotten a little larger today and I am sure it will get even larger tomorrow.
Sorry to be abrupt (I know this is such a devastating time) but are you in contact with anyone adopting from BRESMA? If so, can you ask them to check out this post? http://thatschurch.com/2010/01/14/calling-adoptive-parents-of-bresma-orphans/
The post explains why. I'm an adoption blogger and know that the blog circles can get the word out pretty effectively much of the time so I thought I would check in on a few blogs. Thank you!
Praising God with you!
Angie
Lori, we praise God with you for this news about Louis! We pray that Jesus is glorified in this devastation by it leading to Louis' homecoming much sooner than maybe it would have been and other children as well. We will try to find your story on CNN Friday and we will keep praying! Lots of love and a big hug to you guys.
